This same fruit can be dissolved in milk or water and consumed as a drink. It has six times the vitamin C as an orange and as much calcium as milk. The leaves are edible and used as a relish. Plant at 1" depth in well draining soil mixture. Keep warm lightly moist and in bright light. Fast germinating. Seedlings may take up to 2 years before they begin to develop a swollen trunk.
