His commanding presence and keen instincts have made him a courtroom icon as he has represented countless victims to significant settlements and judgments. Damian D. Capozzola is the founding Partner of The Law Offices of Damian D. Capozzola, where he represents among the most prominent and largest insurers and health plans. In addition, Mr. Capozzola has also handled significant litigation matters across a broad spectrum of industries, representing some of the world's largest defense contractors, food manufacturers and wholesalers, and telecommunications companies. He has extensive experience in taking and defending depositions, and he has written and lectured on litigation strategies, including the effective use of technology in the courtroom, as well as working with experts. For the last decade, he has been a co-author of the Trial Practice Series treatise, Expert Witnesses in Civil Trials: Effective Preparation and Presentation. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Mr. Capozzola has been listed in SuperLawyers and appointed by the governor of his state to the Law Revision Commission. Judge Ronald C. Dresnick (ret.) is a Partner at Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, P.L., where he focuses on commercial litigation, arbitrations, mediations, and civil trials. He is a former Circuit Judge, over which he has presided for 14 years. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Dresnick was a trial lawyer for 25 years. He began his career as an Assistant Public Defender. He later practiced for over a decade in a four-person partnership, along with F. Lee Bailey and former State Attorney Richard E. Gerstein. During his practice he represented numerous high profile defendants including Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman). He has defended a number of high profile drug defendants from South American including a case in Detroit in the first instance where Cornel Oliver North took the Fifth Amendment. He represented the cabinet level head of Bolivia’s anti-drug agency against smuggling charges. He has also has represented numerous local public officials including a sitting judge charged in the “Operation Court broom” public corruption case. Judge Dresnick has presided over numerous high-profile cases, including several criminal cases which were carried gavel to gavel on Court TV. As an attorney, Judge Dresnick has appeared as a commentator on national television numerous times. Judge Dresnick has taught at the Boston University School of Law and has been an adjunct professor St Thomas School of Law and at the University Of Miami School Of Law, where he teaches evidence and has taught litigation skills for the last 15 years. He holds a JD from the University Of Miami School Of Law and an LLM from Harvard Law School.
