Biography of Seminar Faculty:

1. Jonathan S. Goodgold is the Co-Managing Member of Goodgold Feinberg & Bennett, LLC, where he focuses on business litigation. Leading the firm’s collection work in all areas and industries enables Mr. Goodgold to directly counsel business owners and their operations personnel on the most important item of business, the bottom line. He has counseled clients and negotiated and litigated on their behalf in order for their accounts receivables to become accounts payable. In addition, Mr. Goodgold regularly counsels clients and litigates on behalf of his clients with respect to employment law and contractual matters. He began his law clerk as a judicial law clerk.

2. Michael C. Kaplan is a Director at Kaplan, Bogue & Cooper, P.C., where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation. Mr. Kaplan provides strategic local counsel to numerous banks and credit unions assisting with the collection of debts, state court litigation and vehicle title issues. Mr. Kaplan also assists a number of landlords and property management companies in dispossessory and related actions for office, multifamily, multi-use and retail assets. He is a highly sought-after speaker on commercial collections and leasing issues. Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of the Washington University School of Law.

3. Stephen Vlock is a Founding Partner at Vlock & Associates, P.C., where he focuses his practice on judgment enforcement, collection, mortgage foreclosures, business-related litigation, and creditor representation in bankruptcy cases, fraudulent conveyance, and debtor-creditor issues, among others. He is a graduate of Columbia University & Fordham law School. He is a popular instructor for courses on judgment enforcement & collection.

4. Bryan Zlimen is a Founding Partner at Zlimen and McGuiness, PLLC, where he concentrates his practice on representing business clients in a variety of contexts, including consumer and commercial collections. He has spoken and written widely on collections-oriented business practices, including on Fair Debt Collection Practices Act compliance, mechanic’s liens, and other tools that help businesses reduce risk and enhance their commercial success.
