Joseph C. Mandarino is a Partner at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, where he focuses his practice on tax and finance. He has experience with a wide variety of operational and transactional tax issues, including expertise with C corporations, S corporations, LLCs, limited partnerships and other types of entities. He has also counseled clients on corporation transactions, including partnerships, LLC's, and other financial products. A graduate of NYU Law School's LL.M Tax program, Mr. Mandarino excels at also assists clients in tax controversies, audits, appeals, and regulatory hearings. He is a highly sought-after writer on the latest business, tax and finance topics, having published his work in the National Law Journal, Mergers & Acquisitions magazine, Tax Notes Today, the Journal of Real Estate Taxation, the Journal of S Corporation Taxation, the Journal of Multistate Taxation, Tax & Finance Newsletter, and the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation. Christina Berish is a business litigation partner at Thompson Coburn LLP, where she serves as a legal advisor and trial counsel to a diverse portfolio of clients.
