Biography of Seminar Faculty:

1. Colleen Bratkovich practices at Zacharia Brown, where she focuses on Medicaid Planning and Eligibility, Veterans’ Benefits, and related Estate Planning and Estate Administration issues. Ms. Bratkovich is accredited by the Veteran’s Administration to represent Veterans in their claims before the Department. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Bratkovich worked at St. Francis Hospital and Three Rivers Health Plans, now part of United Health Plans. She is a highly sought-after lecturer on Elder Law topics and has taught various seminars including continuing education classes for lawyers, accountants, and nursing home administrators. Ms. Bratkovich can be heard broadcasting for several Elder Law Radio programs.

2. Maren Miller Bam is the Founding Partner at Salus Law, where she oversees one of the country’s top nationwide disability law practices. Her practice and firm are committed to using technology to create a “new wave” of legal services that are client-centered and efficient. For individuals suffering from chronic medical conditions and mental health impairments, leaving the house, driving, and keeping appointments can be insurmountable tasks. Ms. Miller uses customized legal technology to improve efficiency, increase communication, and focus on building winning legal strategies. Her firm’s technology makes it easier for clients to sign on for representation, reach the team outside of normal business hours, and provide updates on their medical treatment.
