Biography of Seminar Faculty:

1. Gary Laturno is a leading authority on real estate and legal techniques on avoiding foreclosures. Mr. Laturno is an AV-rated attorney and member of the American Arbitration Association National Roster of Neutrals. He spent nearly 25 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, where he ultimately was asked to serve as Chief of Civil Litigation at the FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Mr. Laturno is also a Real Estate broker, Real Estate Investor and Property Manager. He has over 30 years of experience, representing business and real estate clients, government agencies, corporations, employers, individuals, executives, and employees.

2. Jonathan L. R. Drewes is a Partner at Drewes Law, PLLC, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation and has considerable experience in foreclosure matters. He has represented lenders and insurance companies such as Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., U.S. Bank, and N.A., Citicorp Leasing, Inc., among others. Mr. Drewes has obtained judgments for clients ranging up to $7.8 million and represents clients facing real estate, foreclosure, and financial disputes. Mr. Drewes has experience in both state supreme and U.S. Courts of Appeals, including arguments to stay judgments pending appeal.

3. Suzanne Watts is an authority on short sale negotiations and the legal implications of selling distressed properties. Ms. Watts established the Residential Law Group of Suzanne Watts, LLC to help people who are faced with selling an over-encumbered property. She works with clients to explain the legal implications of a Short Sale and/or foreclosure and represents her client’s position with their lenders. Ms. Watts is also an experienced realtor and is certified to teach for her state's Department of Real Estate. She began her career practicing civil rights litigation with Gerry Spence and The Spence Law Firm.
