With the game of hockey becoming faster, having the ability to control the puck and stickhandle is rising in importance. Proper stickhandling training improves a player’s ability to maintain speed with the puck, protect the puck, deceive opponents, and catch passes. In this 6-week skills camp, skaters will learn all the drills and technique to improve their puck control, including but not limited to - top and bottom hand positioning, blade positioning, puck placement, and more.

- Skating with the puck (forward, backwards, lateral)
- Single Dekes
- Cutbacks
- Toe Drags
- Invert Toe Drags
- Puck Protection
- Deception

Coaching Staff

Our hockey instructors have years of experience playing hockey at a high level, including NCAA division I and III college hockey, and every level of juniors. In our on-ice skills sessions, our coaches implement drills that have been proven to develop players and provide individual feedback to ensure the player’s progress. See coaches bios here.

Dates: Wednesdays - 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/4, 8/11 (subject to change)
Time: 5:30-6:30pm

Spots are limited, so please register early.

All sales are final. In the event any practice is postponed or the ice facilities are temporarily shut down due to COVID-19 by state or local mandate/health directives, the practices will be paused and will resume when such restrictions are lifted. Any missed practices shall be added to the series so that all skaters will get the full number of practices originally anticipated.
