On ice portion of this series will cover:
Powerskating: edge control, quickness, stride mechanics (forward and backward) speed, transitions, and crossovers.
Puck work: passing, carrying the puck with speed, catch and release shooting, shooting in motion, deking
Game tactics: battling, puck protection, escaping from pressure, puck support
Off ice portion of this series will include:
Partner/small group circuit training designed to increase balance, muscle strength and endurance, quickness and agility, and overall muscle and body awareness. Circuits will incorporate bodyweight exercises like squats, lunges, single-leg squats, bosu-ball squats/balance training, ladders, hurdles, sprints, as well as medicine ball power exercises that mimic core motions in shooting. One station in each circuit will also include the arena’s shooting station where players will be practicing their shooting techniques, as well as stickhandling.

All sales are final. In the event any practice is postponed or the ice facilities are temporarily shut down due to COVID-19 by state or local mandate/health directives, the practices will be paused and will resume when such restrictions are lifted. Any missed practices shall be added to the series so that all skaters will get the full number of practices originally anticipated.
