EDWARD II, 1307-1327. By Jean Dassier. Bronze 41mm. Obv: Crowned, mantled bust of Edward II facing right. Legend: EDOUARD  II D . G. ANG . ET . HIB .REX. (Edward II, by the grace of God, king of England and Ireland). Rev: A sepulchral monument decorated with a bas-relief representing Gournay and Maltravers about to cover up the body of the monarch, after his murder. Exergue: NAT. 1284. COR. 1307.
