(Henry VIII, by the grace of God, king of England, France and Ireland). Rev: A square monument; at the side a bas-relief representing Hercules demolishing an altar, on which are the Papal tiara and keys; behind is the fire to which Henry consigned those who refused to acknowledge his supremacy; at the foot is Hymen, desponding, holding a lighted torch, symbolizing the one marriage undisolved at his death, while five extinguished torches at his feet typify his previous marriages.
