Josette Hébert-Coëffin (1908-1973), sculptor and medallist, was a student at the École des Beaux-Arts de Rouen, where she won a first prize for sculpture and architecture. She was a student of Wlérick, Despiau and Gensoli. She won a gold medal at the International Exposition of 1937. She was a sociétaie of the Salon d’Automne, a member of the Academy of Rouen, Officier de la Légion d’Honneur, Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres. She created many medals and is also noted for her religious statues
