The nose shades are made with an angle to flare away from the horses face forming an umbrella like protective cover. This covers the entire muzzle and mouth from UV damage. It is simple yet so effective, horses are loving their shades as they no longer have to have sunscreens rubbed on their already sore muzzles. This shade attaches to your horses' halter quite securely so it will not come off easily, it does require turning out with the halter on.
