Color Oil offers completely new opportunities when existing wood floors should be rejuvenated. With Color Oil, it is possible to change an old floor into a new warm wood species without spending money on installation of a new wood floor. It is an ideal solution to use Color Oil in connection with renovations and renewal of existing worn down floors. Color Oil is also used for newly laid floors where a specific color and different appearance is required. Floors in pine, spruce, larch, and pitch pine may be saturated with soap as basic treatment. The soap offers some protection of the surface and maintenance is made by cleaning the floor regularly with soap. If a white wash finish is requested then the floor should be primed with lye before the basic treatment with soap.
