This barrette has a clamp down wire style w/ hinge. they hold tighter than the french clips do and are not as bulky. You can sew them on or hot glue them onto your bows at home. Will fit on all bows that I sell except the 3/8 x 1/2 maltese pairs. It is recommended that you put a pre-topknot in with a band before placing the barrette in front of the topknot next to the scalp of if the topknot is thin enough you can place it over the topknot band.
TIP> When hot gluing the barrette to your bow, place the strip of hot glue directly on the bow then place the barrette into the glue and apply pressure to the back of it for about 15 seconds being careful not to get your finger into the hot glue.
