A Base or Carrier can be defined as the medium you use to deliver the correct amount of essential oils to your skin.
A few drops of Essential Oil mixed into your choice of Base or Carrier Oil will usually achieve the same effect as the undiluted oil, but is less harsh on the skin. Following are several examples of Natural Cosmetic Grade Bases and Carrier Oils. Also try our Unscented Deodorant and Plain Comfort Cream as a base carrier too.
