Biography of Seminar Faculty:

1. H. Weldon Jones III practices at Jordan Price Wall Gray Jones & Carlton, PLLC, where he focuses on Airbnb & short-term rental regulation, civil litigation, construction law, community association litigation, and commercial litigation. Mr. Jones previously worked in the firm’s legislative representation section as a lobbyist. Mr. Jones continues to represent clients as a lobbyist before his state's legislative bodies.

2. Todd Poole practices at Poole Huffman, LLC, where he focuses on litigation involving business law, contracts, real estate, commercial debt collection, judgment collection, creditors' rights, and employment matters. Mr. Poole represents businesses and business people in disputes, including breaches of contract, partnership breakups, landlord-tenant issues, and commercial collections. Mr. Poole's experience with international firms and boutiques has allowed him to represent large and small companies in cases ranging from a few thousand dollars to $10 billion. Mr. Poole has been rated by his peers as AV Preeminent and recognized as a SuperLawyer. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School.

3. Jonathan L.R. Drewes is the Founding Member of Drewes Law, PLLC, where he is chief manager. He represents homeowners facing foreclosure and various clients in other real estate matters. Mr. Drewes focuses his practice on civil litigation: the art of motion practice and presenting legal arguments in the courtroom. He has extensive experience winning foreclosure and real estate cases in state and federal courts. Mr. Drewes’s win at the Minnesota Supreme Court--the first homeowner win in front of Minnesota's high court since the Great Depression--demonstrates his commitment to seeking justice through the court system for homeowners and consumers who otherwise might not have a voice. Mr. Drewes is a Board Certified Real Property Specialist through his State Bar Association.

4. Annie E. Perkins practices at Drewes Law, PLLC, where she represents homeowners in various different real estate matters with a primary focus on real estate disclosure disputes, homeowners association disputes, partition actions, and boundary line/easement disputes. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Perkins worked for RE/MAX Results, gaining experience in the field of residential real estate law.
