Compounded Product: A topical form of 0.5-1% colchicine is approved internationally and may be equally effective. Compounded Colchicine topical as well as 5-FU with azalaic acid are available through compounding pharmacies. A new over-the-counter 'ascorbic acid' is being tested as an alternative although initial reports are impressive.
