Inspired Children by Tuchy Palmieri and Olive M. Jones
This book presents the first detailed description of the influence of the Oxford Group movement (In America called A First Century Christian Fellowship) upon the lives of children. One of the extraordinary things that the movement does is to deal with all people upon the basis of their own personal need. Part one is filled with true stories of children’s spiritual experience, and how using the principles of the program gave them a personal and loving God. Part two titled “the way, how children learn to know God.” tell us how prayer, quiet time with subsequent sharing, stories, and literature are the tools used as the pathway to finding their personal God. This book proves that what worked with adults in the Oxford Group was just as effective with children. That leads to the conclusion that what works for Adults in A.A. will also work for children. It is Heartwarming, uplifting and badly needed.
