This is a very hard to find alloy. We have not see this available anywhere else. We had a special order for the material and purchased extra material so that we could offer you this alloy. Aluminum reacts with water to produce hydrogen and the gallium helps to prevent a "skin" of oxidation from forming on the aluminum so that it stays available to the water and continues to produce the gas. The gallium can be recaptured after the reaction. We can provide larger quantities of this alloy. You can also order custom ratios of aluminum and gallium from us at special order rates.
