The Mules, Not a very flattering name but like the animal very dependable and long lived. If you look shoe styles over the past three or four centuries you will see the roots of this modest shoe. It is my belief that it goes back farther into shoe history than we realized. The farther we look the more we find. We are still researching the origins of this shoe but it is my belief that we will find it to be among the first common shoes that have evolved past the foot warped in hide.
