Mullein (Common) (Verbascum thapsus, Verbascum densiflorum) Biennial medicinal herb. Press seed onto soil in spring or autumn and keep moist until germination, which takes 1-2 weeks. Three feet tall at flowering stage. Leaves are harvested to make a tincture to ease breathing, coughs, asthma, colds, and also as a mild pain relief. A reliable self-seeder, at least at altitude.
