NATURAL GASES, SEWER, LANDFILL GAS (METHANE)
This method tests for naturally occurring chemicals such as oxygen and nitrogen along with carbon monoxide, methane (sewer gas) and natural gases. These are odorless gases that can accumulate when combustion devices such as furnaces and wood stoves are not vented properly or chimneys are blocked, or when sewer or landfill gases are entering a building from a leak or underground source, or natural gas is leaking into a building.
