 Family Recipes:

   * Pecan Pie

• 3 eggs, Beaten
• 1 cup E.E Wilsons Moonshine or Ribbon Cane Syrup (purchased at Efurd Orchards)
• 2 teaspoon melted butter
• 1 cup pecans, chopped
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
• Combine syrup, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Add beaten eggs and chopped pecans. Mix throughly. Pour into unbake pie shell and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until set.      

       *  Peach Coblar

  -Pie Pastry:

• 1 1/2 cup of flour
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 5 tablespoons cold water
• 1 teaspoon salt

-Filling:

• 4 cups of peaches (cut up)
• 2 cups of sugar
• 2 tablespoons of flour
• 1 stick of butter
• Place the peaches in a pan. Mix sugar and flour together and pour over peachers. Add butter and bring to a boiling point. Strip the top of the mixture with pastry and cook in a pre-set 400 degree oven until brown
