Return to Manage Products Menu
The bulk of the Manage Products page is used to display your product list which will always be displayed in alphabetical order. This list was designed to give you a single screen where you can find pertinent information regarding your products.
The information columns that you will find on this screen are:
Product Name - This column displays the name given to each product. Your product list is alphabetized according to this column by default. Clicking on a products name will open up that products Edit Details page.
SKU - This column displays the SKU number assigned to each of product.
Featured Product - This column allows you to specify up to 3 featured products. Featured products will appear at the bottom of your initial shopping cart page as featured (up-sell) items on any purchase.
Price - This column displays the Price assigned to each product.
Inventory - If you are tracking inventory amounts for any product, the remaining inventory will be listed in this column.
Licenses - If you have assigned licenses to any of your digital products, the number of remaining licenses will appear in this column.
Action - The action column can be used to perform one of a series of actions on a product by product basis. Your action options are:
- This link can be used to test the shopping cart functionality. If you click on , a browser will open to your shopping cart page and the product that you specified will appear in the cart. You can then run a test transaction if you would like. Keep in mind that this is a LIVE test and if you have a gateway setup and enter a real credit card number you will be charged.
- Clicking on the edit link is the same as clicking on the name of a product in this list and will open up the Edit Details page for the product you clicked on.
If you need more detailed product information, you can click directly on the name of a product, or on the link in the Action column to open up the full details for the specified product.
